The piece “Serenity” is a film about the different worlds we may experience. The ordinary world, the special world, and the in-between. It visits the idea that certain life experiences that are close death moments make us reflect on the progress we make as humans. Sometimes we are not supposed to make it as far as we did and it is about finding a balance of these worlds. Honoring the progression of self-healing while respecting the raw, unrefined, and even ugly parts of ourselves. The things we hide and what the world sees are all a part of who we are.

We carry these things everywhere we go.
